The Call to Be Pioneers
Pioneers live out biblical Christianity that is characterized by total surrender to Jesus as Lord in service, sacrifice, stewardship, and winning people to Christ. They realize life is more than security and stuff and refuse to make this world their home. They deny themselves daily, pick up their crosses, and the follow Jesus. They worship the God of holy love and understand that He calls His people to a lifestyle of holiness and repentance, while they enjoy His love and blessings.
The Healing Ministry of Jesus
Jesus came to destroy the very works of the devil – Satan’s works are evident in sin and sickness as a result of agreement with his ways. Jesus’ purpose was to bring life to fallen humanity. Healing was a central focus of His ministry, which brought life to death in a limited sense. God desires for all to be saved, of which healing is a tangible factor in convincing men of God’s realness, goodness, and love towards them.
Loving Your Enemies
It’s easy to say you love your friends, or even those with whom you disagree. Jesus calls the believer to do something that flies in the face of human logic: to love your enemies. This impossible task is only accomplished by feeling God’s heart of love towards those who wish you harm.
Grace for Fasting: Pursuing the Presence of God
How can the believer grow in their pursuit of God? Jesus’ command to fast is one practical way the believer’s hunger for God is increased.
The Currency of Mercy
If mercy is God’s currency, how will you spend it?
Righteousness in Trial and Blessing
Walking in righteousness is doing what is right in the eyes of God. To do that, we have to be enriched daily by the Word of God.
