Loving Jesus is our only agenda
The focus of of this event is loving Jesus through worship.
- We are not protesting anything.
- We are not lobbying for anything.
- We are not promoting any social or political viewpoint.
We are simply seeking to give Jesus the love and honor that He is due from this city and state. Everything that comes from the tent will be worship, thanksgiving, and adoration for Jesus.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to register if I just want to attend?
No. Registration is not required to attend, but it is mandatory if you wish to volunteer.
Will there be a sound system or is this “unplugged?”
There will be a 16 channel sound system, but the volume will be kept low from 9pm–8am the following day. This is because there are residents and offices nearby.
What instruments do I need to bring?
We are providing a keyboard, djembe, 5 microphones for singers, and 6 instrument channels. You are required to bring your own instruments, and we recommend bringing your own instrument cable.
Will electric guitar amps be provided?
We will provide one Line 6 POD (this is an amp modeler that goes directly into the system). If you don’t wish to use the POD, you may bring your own amp. The amp volume will need to be closely monitored.
Is a drum set allowed?
Unfortunately, due to city sound ordinance we cannot allow a drum set at this venue, so the only drums allowed will be hand percussion (djembe, cajon, congas, etc).
What if I have more instruments than there are channels?
If you find yourself with more instruments than there are channels, please feel free to have some of your team play acoustically only.
Will there be a sound man?
We are trying our best to get people to run sound, but it’s likely your set may not have a dedicated sound person. We appreciate your humility in working with us to make this work!
Do I need to fill out separate applications for my entire worship team?
Nope! Applications are only required for worship leaders, prayer leaders, or Section Leaders (Those who oversee the tent for a section of time).
How big is the tent?
The tent will be approximately 20×20 feet.
Will there be bathrooms?
Yes. There will be a port-a-john within 200 feet.
Is this a safe space?
The Capitol grounds are a safe space and regularly monitored by Capitol Police, but please exercise good judgment and watch over your items.
Is parking available?
There are many parking options available. Come prepared with coins to pay for metered parking
